I can set it to 25000000 but not more because of running background programs but I do not think increasing this by small amount would not help me a lot :| Well I have 4GB RAM so I think that I can not increase the number so this will not work for me. But today I took the time to hunt around and find a way to get it from lagging. I never said anything back then because I was not ready to look into or fix it. To check how much ram you have, right click on My Computer (This PC for windows 10).on your desktop, press properties. If all works well remove the back up folder and file, if you've messed up you, take out the messed up folder or file and you have the ones you backup to put back. Run the game and see if things are any better? If not, then it's something else? Once you've changed it to what you want, just save and close the file.

Remember you always have programs running in the background so I would not advice using your full ram on the game. (Ok I have 8gb of ram and I cange the 20000000 to 60000000, so the game will run using 6gb of ram) You can pick what you like as long as it higher then the 20000000 and you have the ram to support it. Ok so you've back up the Sims 3 folder and Sims3.ini file. So here is what I did for any-one else with the same trouble? Before you start, please make a copy of your Sims 3 folder C:\Users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and also the Sims3.ini file Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (Sims3.ini is within this folder)
